NextGen Jobs

Bringing manufacturing back to the United States is more than a slogan, to be successful, schools need to deliver graduates that not only have the knowledge to work in manufacturing jobs, but also the thinking skills, logical analytics skills and problem solving skills to take on new industries, new processes and constant change.

21st century jobs are about teamwork, problem solving, collaboration, tech literacy and leadership.

Intelitek programs for advanced manufacturing, manufacturing automation, machining for production, robotics for advanced manufacturing, and process control integrate the theory, advanced knowledge, and hands on experience both virtually with simulation and real-life with educational hardware to prepare classes for a future in industry.

Below is the typical Course Map for Intro to Advanced Manufacturing. Advanced manufacturing is a series of courses that spans the fundamental knowledge required to integrate into manufacturing. production or processing plants. The framework includes core knowledge like safety, soft skills like interviewing skills, and practical knowledge like providing familiarity with tools, measurement methodologies and finally production processes and operations.

Certifications: The courses in this section also provide the content to take the MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT) tests.

Vocational High Schools, Community Colleges, Outreach programs, and College programs in areas around the country are desperate to implement training that involves more than bookwork and “show-and-tell”. Supporting a school to invest in a high level Career Technology lab and program will prepare students for REAL jobs in REAL production and manufacturing plants.

Typical Program Costs:

Virtual programs: $5,000/yr for 30 students

Hands on Programs with Lab for 30 Students: ~$50,000 – $150,000 capital investment plus $5000/yr for instructional materials
